Audronė Gedžiūtė

Audronė Gedžiūtė is a freelance translator, interpreter, scholar and educator. She graduated in English philology from Vilnius University in 2007, obtained a master degree in English linguistics in 2009, and was awarded a PhD degree in 2014 for the thesis “Female Projection in the Mythopoetics of Death as Reflected in Celtic Mythical Stories, Folktales and Late Medieval Literature”. Audronė is currently involved in research of evolvement of mythical concepts and their cultural expressions in the Baltic region and thus comparing Baltic and Celtic cultures.
