Elisabete Machado

Elisabete Machado worked in publishing at an academic publisher located in the Netherlands, where she lived for 11 years. She is currently living in Portugal, as she is studying for a Masters Degree in Translation in her home country. She graduated from the University of Minho with a degree in Teaching and Education (English & German, FL), and then went on to work as both a high school and a business English teacher. At the same time she was also a freelance translator, specialising in scientific papers. Currently, her main professional interest is Translation and she is keen to expand her knowledge about all areas related to translation studies.
