Mia Pervan

Mia Pervan holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English and Slavic Studies and M.A. in Translation Studies Comparative Literature and Translation Studies both from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She has taught English and Russian at the School for Foreign Languages, Zagreb; held a post as Senior Lecturer in Translation Studies at the University of Split; and holds a postgraduate position as research teacher at the University of Zagreb, Department of Phonetics. In addition, she has published multiple books for learning English, and produced many major Croatian translations including John Banville's The Sea (2006) and Ancient Light (2014).
